Technology is supposed to be catching up, but when it comes to Lenovo, it is clearly lagging behind. It has been almost one year and half since the Lenovo K3 Note was launched in the Indian market and even after thousands of complaints about the lack of software update for it on the official forum, nothing has happened! VoLTE is required for several mobile services like Jio (Reliance subsidiary) which launched a massive free data and call offers.

Here are some of the complaints raised by Lenovo K3 Note users:-

Hi guys I am using lenovo k3 note. Now I got jio sim.But I cant use my phone to call with that sim.I need an updation for VoLte to call.Last day I noticed that asus zenfone laser 2 got an updation wich enabled Volte. Please give a volte updation for my phone. – arunarunraj

VoLte icon was showing in notification center/status bar icon after the 6.0 marshmallow first update..but i dont know why it was rolled back after 4 Mb patch update…hope to see it back in the future patch update- harishpathak

Lenovo K3 Note may not support VoLTE, so  you won’t be able to make those calls directly through default Phone Dialer.

If you are using Jio, you need to download Jio 4G Voice App from Playstore which enables both Voice and Video calls to JIo users and only voice calls for any other network.
