The Consumer Guarantees Act outlines what a consumer in New Zealand can expect when they buy or service from a business. It also provides a business with certain guidelines on what they must provide to their customers.

If a product or service does not meet one of these guarantees, a consumer can get a remedy from the business/service provider.

    We have a dispute with our builder regarding foundations on which we were not informed at all.
    We like some info on the right to be informed prior to laying the foundations.
