It looks like Nestle India will have to face another fitness test on its popular product — Maggi noodles.
The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) on January 6 allowed more testing on samples of Maggi noodles, following the government’s request. The Centre has filed a Rs 640-crore suit against Nestle India for “unfair trade” practices.
The government had sought testing on 31 samples of Maggi products, including its noodles, the NCDRC bench allowed retesting of only 16 samples.
Till the issue is sorted out, we strongly advise you to have have a noodleless snacks or breakfasts! 😉
